The Martini Mixer 10.4.2025
This was our first party, and it was put together last minute as a way to just have fun.
The turnout was amazing and everyone asked if we could do it again. We will continue as a High Point tradition.
The music was a 70's - 80's vibe and curated by my brother, Paul.
The appetizers were made by Nancy Sawyer. They were delicious and plentiful.
Phil Grieco and Ron Buday mixed drinks for 3 straight hours without any breaks. Nancy filled in as well. The Cosmos were a hot item.
As the guests arrived, the "Welcome to the Martini Mixer" song played outside the entrance.
Listen to the Welcome Song
Judy Grieco and Ellen Estes greeted the guests with name tags, drink tokens, and a VIP wrist band.
Though the party was a 6 - 8PM event, a crowd of 20 showed up at 5:30.
At 8:30 or 9:00, Paul turned up the music, we cleared the dance floor, and 20 or so guests danced for hours.
At 11:00PM, the last 30 or so partiers left.
The Question I asked was, "Shall we do this again in March?" The Answer was a unanimous "YES"! We'll start planning.
Thank you Everyone for bringing your Good Vibes. And a huge "Thank You" to all the people volunteering to make the party a success.
A special mention to Karen for doing dishes for 2 hours.
With My Sincerest Gratitude,
